The Aruba ED Card (Embarkation/Disembarkation Card) is a mandatory digital registration
system introduced to streamline the entry process into Aruba, making travel more efficient,
secure, and convenient. All visitors—regardless of nationality or visa status—must complete the
ED Card online prior to arrival.
This digital procedure is part of Aruba’s commitment to modernize border control, enhance traveler screening, and reduce processing times at immigration. Whether you're traveling for leisure, business, or to reunite with loved ones, the Aruba ED Card ensures that your personal, travel, and health information is submitted in advance for a smoother arrival experience.
From lounging on the pristine shores of Eagle Beach to exploring Oranjestad’s vibrant culture or diving into the island’s marine life, completing the Aruba ED Card is a crucial step in preparing for your trip to Aruba.
The official currency of Aruba is the Aruban florin (AWG), introduced in 1986. Its symbol is ƒ or Afl. In practice, the US dollar (USD) is also widely accepted, especially in hotels, restaurants, and tourist areas.
Aruba has two official languages: Dutch and Papiamento. Papiamento is a Creole language with elements of Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, English, and African languages, and is spoken in everyday life. English and Spanish are also widely spoken, especially in tourism and business.

Aruba has a dry, tropical climate with warm temperatures year-round, averaging around 28°C (82°F). The island lies outside the hurricane belt, making it a popular destination throughout the year. Rainfall is minimal and typically occurs between October and January. Constant trade winds help keep the heat comfortable.

After you complete your Aruba ED Card application, the submission is sent to Aruba’s official immigration system. Travelers typically receive an email confirmation once the registration has been successfully submitted.
When accepted, the ED Card is electronically connected to your passport and travel record by Aruba’s immigration authorities. There’s no need to print or present a separate document at arrival — border agents can verify the details electronically. A new ED Card is required for each trip to Aruba and should be submitted before departure.
If there are problems with the submission — such as missing or incorrect information — the authorities may require you to update or re-submit your details. It’s important to ensure that all personal, travel, and health information is accurate to avoid delays or complications at the border.
Our role is to assist travelers with completing the Aruba ED Card accurately and on time. The final review, acceptance, and verification of the ED Card are carried out solely by Aruba’s immigration authorities.
