The Philippines eTravel Declaration is a government-run digital registration system for travelers arriving in or departing from the Philippines. It replaces the former paper arrival/departure cards and health forms, combining immigration, customs, and quarantine requirements into a single online form.
Travelers visiting for tourism, seeing friends or family, or even transiting through the Philippines (unless remaining airside) must complete the eTravel Declaration within 72 hours before arrival or departure, in line with government requirements.
Useful Information for Visa-Free Travel to the Philippines
First introduced in 1852, the Philippine peso (PHP) is the official currency of the Philippines. Its primary symbol is ₱, and it is often abbreviated as PHP or sometimes PhP to distinguish it from other currencies.
The Philippines has two official languages: Filipino (based on Tagalog) and English. English is widely used in government, education, and business, making the country one of the largest English-speaking nations in Asia. Once submitted, the eTravel form is processed by the Philippine government’s online system. Travelers typically receive an official confirmation of their registration by email.
When accepted, the eTravel information is electronically linked to the traveler’s passport and journey details within the government system. There is no need to print or present a separate document at the border — Philippine immigration officers can verify the registration electronically. A new eTravel form must be completed for every entry into the Philippines and must be submitted within 72 hours before arrival.
If there are problems with the eTravel registration — such as missing or inaccurate information — the authorities or airline may require you to correct or resubmit your details before boarding or on arrival. It is essential to ensure all personal, travel, and health information is accurate. Incomplete or incorrect submissions may cause delays or, in some cases, prevent entry until the form is properly completed.
Our role is to assist travelers in completing the Philippines eTravel form accurately and on time. The review, confirmation, and use of the eTravel system are managed solely by the Philippine government.
