The Dominican Republic e ticketis a mandatory digital form required for all air travelers entering or leaving the country. Whether you’re visiting for a holiday, on business, in transit, or returning home, you must complete this online form before your flight.
Designed to simplify border procedures, the e-Ticket ensures a faster, paperless experience at immigration checkpoints. Whether your destination is the sun-soaked beaches of Punta Cana, the vibrant streets of Santo Domingo, or anywhere in between, the e-Ticket guarantees a smoother arrival and departure process.
All air travelers must complete the e-Ticket online within 72 hours before travel. On our website, travelers can apply in advance, and the e-Ticket will be processed and delivered to them 3 days prior to their arrival. It combines immigration, customs, and health information and is required even for visa-exempt visitors. Separate e-Tickets must be submitted for entry and exit, and travelers should present the generated QR code at check-in and immigration.
Once submitted, the e-Ticket form is processed by the Dominican government’s online system. Travelers typically receive an official confirmation of their registration by email.
When accepted, the e-Ticket information is electronically linked to the traveler’s passport and travel details within the government system. There is no need to print or present a separate document at the border—Dominican immigration officers can verify the registration electronically. A new e-Ticket must be completed for every entry and exit from the Dominican Republic and should be submitted within 72 hours before travel.
If there are problems with the e-Ticket registration—such as missing or inaccurate information—the airline or immigration authorities may require you to correct or resubmit your details before boarding or upon arrival. It is essential to ensure all personal, travel, and health information is accurate. Incomplete or incorrect submissions may cause delays or, in some cases, prevent entry or departure until the form is properly completed.
